Confined Space Awareness
Construction workers encounter confined spaces every day — manholes, vaults, tanks, pits, ducts, and more. This course teaches you to identify a confined space using the three-part test, recognize the four indicators that make a space permit-required, understand the hazards that make these spaces deadly, know the roles and controls required for safe entry, and apply the core behavioral rule: stop, ask, follow procedure, do not improvise. This is awareness-level training — it prepares workers to recognize confined spaces and respond correctly before entry, atmospheric testing, permit approval, supervision, or rescue is authorized.
